I love how the color of the sky changes gracefully. You can see its transition through these photos and I find it quite beautiful. Though I may be similar to an awkward whale-mannequin who's interfering with the sky's magnificence, you can't not adore the beautiful scenery. The sky's quite like life. It changes. Sometimes it may be beautiful; other times it may not be. But once in a while (for the case of Philippine weather, all the time), the sun shines radiantly and brightly after hiding beneath those dark clouds. (Here I go again not making sense)
Also, I apologize for the blurriness and the lack of quality in some of the photos. It was quite a windy day, so unusual in this humid weather, and I struggled to take decent photos wherein the wind wasn't blowing my skirt or making me look fatter than I already am. Fortunately, there were quite a lot of decent photos or maybe the sky is helping me look fabulous, i don't really know, but one thing's for sure, I had tons of fun taking these photos (mostly because I wasn't sweating).
Recently, I discovered a spectacular band called the XX. Their songs have been flooding my dashboard (on tumblr) as well as my timeline (on twitter) due to their performance at Coachella. I'd like to share with you their greatness and the first song of theirs that I have ever listened to. Their songs are just so calming and pleasing to the ears and mind that I just can't even. I am unable to even. Okay, I should stop typing now and you should play that embedded youtube video.
I think - while there is always room for improvement - that the photographic composition in your photos are brilliant as is, most especially the first photo. The lines and dots in the background make up for a very lovely backdrop.
I was going to go off and start talking in photography talk, but I'd rather not get sidelined. A bit of post-processing and your photos are good to go!
To Anonymous, I do highly suggest that next time you tell someone they could improve on something, offer them your tips or advice, otherwise it makes you sound like you're all (constructive) criticism, and no help whatsoever! It doesn't help that you're hiding behind anonymity either. I don't mean this in a bad way, so please don't get me wrong. I'm afraid you might misinterpret me, so let me clear out now that (*alien voice*) I come in peace. Hahahaha. You could've helped Niña a lot more by telling her where to start, rather than just pointing at the broad topic of photography in general. :D
Thank you so much for the advice and thank you so so so so much for the compliment (it was a compliment, right? omg :( HAHA sorry) !!! :) I use the Samsung Galaxy Phone-Camera. Not an slr yet. :) hehehe
Love the baby yellow cardigan and dress combo, those tomboy booties are so fun too. So glad I clicked on your comment that led me back to your blog, your posts' contents are info and image juicy so expect to be seeing some regular comments from me. Btw, I just posted my fun layering look with a jumpsuit underneath and a Céline stingray box bag just in case you're into quirky accessories! Do tell me if I have successfully PROVOKED you ;)
