Not exactly the usual Prom people would think it would be, but it was the best night ever for me. I remember being so problematic about it. Occasionally ranting about its banality and how overrated it is. However, as time passed, I gradually found a liking to it. Plenty of factors contributed to my excitement a month before: the Prom Committee's works (ie. the video below done by my batchmate: Jill Tiutan), my guy best friend (who eventually became my date), finding a dress and casually "searching" how the past proms have been.
A night where we'd be feeling like kings and queens (or be the feeling king and queen hahaha)... Indeed, Vita Royale. I can't really describe the night into one whole paragraph. Maybe a plethora of beautifully stitched sentences would have done the trick, but it still wouldn't do it any justice. It was full of the cliché laughters and smiles- but with extremely unusual reasons for it. But maybe, a thank you to everyone who took part in this event would suffice for now, so thank you (you know who you are)!
